Same idea every time: get out of the valley\, take the long way\, and end the day around a fire with people who ride. \nThe Eurosports Utah Fall Ride is our biggest weekend of the year\, and 2026 marks the 15th one. We point the bikes east and take the scenic route to Meeker\, Colorado — a small ranch town on the White River\, tucked under the Flat Tops\, right when the aspens are turning. You just pick the option you want\, pay\, and you’re on the list. That’s your registration for the whole weekend. Base camp is Trail & Hitch in Meeker\, with the hotel a few minutes away in town. \nEvery option covers Friday and Saturday night (check in Friday\, October 2 — check out Sunday\, October 4) and includes: \n\nTwo nights of lodging\nBreakfast Saturday and Sunday morning\nDrinks around the group fire pit both evenings\nCommunity fire pit\, outdoor games\, and the on-site camp store\n\nTent Spot — $125\nThe most affordable way in\, and right in the middle of everything. Your own site near the central gathering area with a picnic table\, your own fire pit\, and motorcycle parking at the site. Bring your own tent\, sleeping pad\, and sleeping bag — and bring the cold-weather version\, not your September camping kit. Nights drop near freezing. Bathhouse with private showers is on site. \nBook a tent spot → \nYurt — $350\nGlamping\, and a good middle ground. A 27-foot yurt with four single daybeds that convert to kings plus two twin trundles — room for up to six riders. Kitchenette with a coffee maker and mini fridge. No indoor plumbing; the bathhouse is right there. Split between a few riders it’s the best value on the list. \nBook a yurt → \nHotel Room\, 2 Queen Beds — $399\nA real bed and a private bathroom at a hotel in town\, a few minutes from the campground. Sleeps up to four. Shuttle service runs between the hotel and Trail & Hitch\, so you can be at the fire both nights without riding back afterward. \nBook a hotel room → \nTiny Houses — $399 to $525\nWe have booked all eleven of them\, and they’re the most popular option this year. Each one is its own standalone tiny house at Trail & Hitch — a real bed\, your own private bathroom\, your own space\, and you’re still ten steps from the fire pit. No walk to the bathhouse\, no shuttle\, no driving. They vary in size\, layout\, and how many they sleep\, which is why the price range is what it is. \nThis year’s tiny houses: Farmhouse\, Flat Tops\, Wagon Wheel\, Pinyon Pines\, Hidden Valley\, Meadow Loop\, Sage Hill\, Lil Rio\, Lion Canyon\, White River Casita\, and Hey Flat. \nEach one has its own product page\, sleeping capacity\, and price\, so have a look and grab the one that fits your group. Eleven units total — once they’re gone\, they’re gone. \nBrowse the tiny houses → \nSee All Lodging & Register → \nBook early. Limited number of sites\, and the headcount is what we build the group dinners\, the Saturday guide-to-rider ratios\, and the fire setup around. \n\nWho This Ride Is For\n\nAny brand\, any bike. You do not have to have bought your bike from us. Ducati\, BMW\, Triumph\, KTM\, Japanese\, American — if it runs and it’s road-legal\, bring it.\nAny experience level\, with one caveat: Friday is a long day in the saddle. You should be comfortable riding several hundred miles in a day\, in a group\, in changing weather. If that’s new to you\, come do a Bikes & Breakfast or a shorter group ride with us first and we’ll get you ready.\nSolo riders. A lot of people show up not knowing anybody. That’s kind of the point of the fire. You will not be riding alone by Saturday.\nPassengers are welcome. Two-up is fine on the Friday and Sunday legs and on the Saturday road ride. Just make sure your registration and lodging reflect two people.\n\n\nYour Bike: Get It Ready Before Friday\nMeeker is remote and the route crosses long empty stretches. A mechanical problem out there costs the whole group time. Before you show up: \n\nTires — check tread depth and pressure. You’re putting serious miles on in three days. If you’re borderline\, replace them before the ride\, not after.\nOil and fluids — topped off\, and get the service done if you’re near an interval.\nChain — cleaned\, lubed\, and tensioned.\nBrakes and lights — pads with life left\, everything working.\nFuel range — know how far you can actually go on a tank. If your bike has a short range\, tell us at the rider meeting so we can plan stops around you.\n\n\nWe’ll inspect your bike for free before the ride. \nBring it by the dealership and our techs will go over it — tires\, fluids\, chain\, brakes\, lights — at no charge\, so you know what you need so it’s ready for three hard days before you’re a hundred miles from the nearest shop. This is the single best thing you can do to make sure your weekend goes well. \nDeadline: Thursday\, October 1. That’s the day before we roll\, and it’s a hard cutoff — it gives us time to actually fix anything we find. Don’t wait until that Thursday either; the week before the Fall Ride is always our busiest. You can also call (801) 618-2700. \n\nIf the inspection turns up work that needs doing\, get on the service schedule right away — September fills up fast ahead of this ride every single year. \n\nWhat to Pack\nWeather reality check: Meeker sits at 6\,237 feet\, and the passes you’ll cross on Friday are higher. Early October there typically runs highs in the mid-60s and lows right around freezing — 32–36°F overnight is normal. Mornings will be genuinely cold. It’s usually dry and clear\, but a wet day is possible and an early snow flurry at elevation isn’t unheard of. Pack like the forecast might be wrong\, because you’ll be riding in a 35-degree swing in a single day. \nGear\n\nFull riding gear — helmet\, jacket\, gloves\, pants\, boots. Non-negotiable.\nLayers. Base layer\, mid layer\, windproof outer. You’ll shed them by noon and want them back by 5.\nRain gear — even if the forecast is clean.\nWinter or heavier gloves plus your normal pair. Cold hands ruin a good morning.\nNeck gaiter or balaclava.\nHeated gear if you own it. Nobody has ever regretted bringing it on this ride.\nClear or low-light visor for early starts and dusk.\nDirt riders: appropriate tires\, off-road boots\, goggles\, hydration pack.\n\nOff the Bike\n\nTwo nights of clothes plus something warm for sitting by the fire after dark.\nCamping in a tent? Bring your own tent\, sleeping pad\, and a sleeping bag rated for near-freezing nights. This is not September car camping.\nSunscreen and lip balm — high altitude sun is no joke\, even when it’s cold.\nPhone mount and charger\, plus a backup battery.\nAny medications you need. The nearest full pharmacy options in Meeker are limited.\n\nOn the Bike\n\nSmall tool kit and tire plug kit.\nWater — more than you think.\nSnacks for the long gaps between stops.\nInsurance and registration current.\n\nDon’t Want to Carry It All? We’ll Take It.\nWe run a van to Meeker\, and your luggage can ride in it. Drop your bag at the dealership Friday morning when you check in and it’ll be waiting for you at Trail & Hitch when you get there. No cost\, no catch. \nThis is a bigger deal than it sounds. It means you can pack a proper duffel with warm clothes\, camping gear\, and a change of boots without cramming it into a top case or bungeeing a dry bag to the pillion — and it means you ride all day Friday on a light\, balanced bike instead of a loaded one. If you’re camping\, this is how you bring a real sleeping bag instead of a compromise. \nWhat to keep on the bike: rain gear\, an extra layer\, water\, snacks\, wallet\, phone\, and anything you’d want at a gas stop. Everything else can go in the van. \nAnd it comes home too. Load your bag back in the van before you leave Meeker Sunday and we’ll bring it to the dealership. Just know that we’re closed Sunday and Monday\, so pickup is Tuesday\, October 6 when we open at 9:00 AM. Keep your toothbrush\, meds\, work clothes — anything you need before Tuesday — on the bike with you. \nLabel your bag with your name. One bag per rider keeps it easy for everyone. \n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nDo I have to ride the whole way with the group?\nNo. We ride as a group Friday because it’s more fun and because the route has long remote stretches. But nobody’s chained to it — if you want to peel off\, take a detour\, or run your own pace\, just let the lead or sweep rider know so we’re not looking for you. \nCan I drive out and meet the group in Meeker?\nAbsolutely. Some riders trailer out\, some drive out with a spouse\, some fly-and-ride. You’re welcome for the Saturday rides\, the dinners\, and the fire regardless of how you got there. Just register so we have you in the count. \nIs there a chase truck or support vehicle?\nWe run a sweep rider at the back of the group Friday so nobody gets left behind\, and staff carry basic tools and a plug kit. This is not a fully supported tour — you’re responsible for your own bike\, your own roadside assistance coverage\, and your own gear. Make sure your roadside plan actually covers motorcycles in rural Colorado. \nWhat’s the pace like?\nRelaxed. This isn’t a race and it isn’t a canyon-carving session. We ride at a pace where everyone stays together and nobody feels rushed. If the pace ever feels wrong for you\, say something at a gas stop. \nCan I do the road ride Saturday if I brought an adventure bike?\nYes. Ride whichever group sounds better that morning. Plenty of ADV bikes on the pavement ride and a few surprisingly capable bikes in the dirt group. \nHow hard is the dirt ride?\nIt’s built around forest roads and trails\, and the guides set the pace based on who shows up. If you’ve ridden dirt or gravel roads before and you’re on an appropriate bike with appropriate tires\, you’ll be fine. If you’ve genuinely never ridden off pavement\, Saturday in Meeker is not the day to learn — take the road ride and come talk to us about getting some dirt time first. \nIs the bike inspection really free?\nYes. Bring your bike in and we’ll check it over at no charge — any make\, any model\, whether you bought it from us or not. You need to book it by Thursday\, October 1. The inspection is free; if we find something that needs parts or labor\, we’ll quote you before we touch it. \nHow does the luggage shuttle work?\nDrop your bag at the dealership Friday morning at check-in and we’ll haul it to Meeker in our van. It’ll be at Trail & Hitch waiting for you. It’s free\, and it’s the reason you can bring a warm sleeping bag and real clothes instead of packing like you’re going overnight. Label the bag with your name\, keep it to one per rider\, and keep your rain gear and essentials on the bike. \nCan the van take my luggage home on Sunday too?\nYes — load it back in the van before you leave Meeker and we’ll haul it home. One catch: you pick it up at the dealership on Tuesday. We’re closed Sunday and Monday\, so the earliest you can grab your bag is Tuesday\, October 6 at 9:00 AM. Pack with that in mind — anything you need Sunday night or Monday should ride home with you\, not in the van. \nWhat about meals — are they included?\nPartly. Breakfast Saturday and Sunday is included with every lodging option\, as are drinks at the fire pit both nights. The two dinners in town and the Friday lunch stop are on your own — everyone orders and pays for themselves. Fuel is on you too\, obviously. \nCan my spouse or partner come without riding?\nYes\, and several do. Meeker has a good main street\, great fall scenery\, and hiking nearby. They’re welcome at both dinners and both fires. \nWhat if the weather turns bad?\nWe ride in rain and cold — that’s what the gear is for. If conditions get genuinely unsafe (ice\, heavy snow at elevation)\, we’ll adjust the route or the timing and communicate it to everyone directly. We won’t put the group in a bad spot. \nIs there cell service?\nSpotty. Expect dead zones on Friday’s route and limited service in places around Meeker. Download your maps offline before you leave\, and don’t count on your phone as your only navigation. \nHow many people usually come?\nIt’s grown a lot over fifteen years. Expect a real group — big enough that you’ll meet new people\, small enough that you’ll actually get to know them. \nIs there a cancellation policy?\nLodging cancellation terms are set on the registration page. If your plans change\, tell us as early as you can so we can offer your room to someone on the list. \n\nWhy People Keep Coming Back\nAsk anyone who’s done a few of these and they won’t lead with the roads. They’ll tell you about the fire. \nThere’s something about being three hundred miles from home\, tired in the good way\, standing around a fire in a small Colorado town in October with people who understand exactly why you’d spend an entire day on a motorcycle to get there.
